RCS Membership opens up many opportunities to learn more about the people and issues that shape the Commonwealth, and indeed the world. The RCS - Ottawa Branch encourages personal involvement by organizing events which bring together its members with Commonwealth diplomats and personalities active on the national and international stages.

The Ottawa Branch has garnered an enviable reputation throughout the Commonwealth for its youth education and leadership development initiatives such as the National Student Commonwealth Forum, held annually in May. Student members have a unique opportunity to participate in the planning of the Forum.

The Ottawa Branch distributes a newsletter, four or five times per year, to publicize Branch activities (and other items of interest, such as Commonwealth-related news, and achievements of Branch members). All members receive the Newsletter, and are invited to contribute to it.

The RCS - Ottawa Branch offers three individual membership types and one corporate membership type.

Main Membership - $35.00 a year.

• Priority seating for limited attendance events
• Mailed copy of RCS Newsletters (National and Ottawa Branch)
• Memberhip privileges at the Club facilities of RCS Headquarters in London, UK
• Discounted rates at the ORION hotel located beside the RCS Club in London, UK, and at ORION hotels in other European cities

Additional Memberships - second membership $15.00, third (or more) $10.00.

• Additional memberships can be purchased by main members for members living at the same address
• Additional members are entitled to the same privileges as main members

Associate Membership - $10.00 per year.

• Associate memberships are open to full-time students under 25 years of age.
• Associate members are entitled to all the privileges of main members.

Corporate Membership - $100.00 per year.

• Increased international networking opportunities
• Business "Breakfasts" for corporate members and diplomatic leaders
• Invitations to all RCS events and seminars
• Discounted rates to RCS events
• Priority seating for limited attendance events
• Mailed copy of the RCS Newsletters (National and Ottawa Branch)
